This Privacy Policy describes how Meow Match Cat Café ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile game available on iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

By using the App you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

📦 Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the App:

• Game progress data — level, coins, boosters, and café customisations are stored locally on your device using localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless explicitly synced.
• Purchase receipts — when you make an in-app purchase, Apple and RevenueCat process the transaction. We receive confirmation of what was purchased (but never your payment card details).
• Advertising identifiers — the App serves ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS) and usage data to serve personalised or contextual ads, subject to your App Tracking Transparency (ATT) consent choice.
• Crash and diagnostics data — device model, OS version, and anonymised crash logs may be collected automatically to help us fix bugs.

We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information unless you contact us directly.

💳 In-App Purchases & Apple Payment Processing

All purchases made in the App are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment card details. Apple's handling of payment data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

After a purchase is completed, Apple provides us with a receipt confirming the transaction so we can unlock the relevant game content for you.

🛒 RevenueCat Third-party SDK

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and one-time purchases across platforms. RevenueCat receives:

• A randomly generated app user ID (not linked to your real identity)
• Purchase receipts from Apple to validate and unlock entitlements
• Basic device information (OS version, locale) for analytics

📢 Google AdMob Third-party SDK

The App displays rewarded video ads powered by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

• Device advertising identifier (IDFA), subject to your ATT consent
• IP address and approximate location (country/region)
• Device type, OS version, and app usage data
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

On iOS, the App will request your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before allowing AdMob to use your IDFA for personalised ads. You may also opt out at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

🔗 How We Use Information

Information collected is used solely to:

• Deliver and improve core game functionality
• Validate purchases and unlock in-game rewards
• Display advertisements (rewarded and interstitial)
• Diagnose crashes and performance issues

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their own marketing purposes.

🔒 Data Retention & Security

Game progress is stored locally on your device. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data. Purchase history is retained by Apple and RevenueCat in accordance with their respective policies.

We use industry-standard security practices to protect any data transmitted to our servers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

👶 Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data including the right to access, correct, or delete it. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details below.

California residents (CCPA) and EU/UK residents (GDPR) may have additional rights. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
